Silver Pass - 1994

Quick post today, light on text. I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date.

This "Silver Pass" from 1994 seems like GOLD to me! How in the world did you get one of these? I am guessing you couldn't even buy these, but then how did you get it? Better question, do they still have these?

Hey Jason, notice it's Disneyland "Park"....

Tomorrow: Per a readers request, another Disneyland Magazine article.

Silver Passes are issued to salaried Park people as well as long-time Park people who have retired.

Yessss, I am crossing my fingers that it's MY request, he he! Come on, LIFE magazine!

I've never seen this silver pass, but I do have some other silver (and gold) passes that I've purchased over the years (you've probably seen a lot of 'em on ebay). Would you be interested in getting scans of those?

Thanks progressland, does that mean you did'nt get one when you worked at the park?

Sorry Major, somehow I don't have that LIFE magazine, I have tons of LIFE's but not a Disneyland one, Doh! Maybe someone will feel sorry for us and post it????

No, it's a Disney World issue, from 1971 I guess. Don't worry about it! ;-)

I remember this pass! I got one with my name on it, and it's still around here somewhere. Giving credit where it's due, the wonderful character art of Dumbo and Timothy is by Pete Emslie, a great friend who, by the way, has a terrific blog worth your attention. He drew several of these Silver Pass cards for Cast Members during the '90s, as well as many other wonderful Disneyland/WDW ephemera.
