Three from Disneyland - October 1976

OK so these three slides from October 1976 are kinda dull, but hey, they can't all be gems...

Cool threads!

I like the yellow and blue bobsled in that first pic.

I wonder what those egg-shaped things are in the window of Merlin's Magic Shop?

Wow...so cool! That first pic has me puzzled. WHERE is this? There is a planter right behind the folks and I'm sure it's no longer there - but I can't remember it!

These are groovy!

Some of the egg-shaped things appear to be skulls, but I'm not 100% positive.

Connie, I'm sure that planter was removed to leave more room for the ever-growing crowds!

Major, that kind of makes sense since it was a Magic Shop. I hope they were real authentic human skulls!

Connie, I believe that area has all been reworked for Pixie Hollow. The structure to the right is the old souvenir stand that was converted from the House of the Future's outdoor patio. The souvenir stand itself was torn down when they put in Aerial's clam shell/meet 'n greet turntable.

Once again, a great insight to the way Disney parks were.

I would love to see some past photos superimposed on more recent ones.

How can any pictures of old Disneyland be dull?

I love these. Thank you.
